If you’re a fan of script, florals and custom details, you’ll love today’s feature couple’s custom wedding stationery suite.
Tori and David first met at a wedding, in the same church they went on to get married at themselves. The first time the couple spoke was at the same reception hall the bride described as the place “where they’d dance the night away…” Their relationship was rooted in tradition and romance; their holy union solidified in the same spaces it first blossomed.
I connected with the couple on social media, then followed up for an in-person consultation. If possible, I love to schedule an in-person meeting to capture the couple’s essence and personalities. The pair were both small business owners, David operating a third generation milk ranch and Tori a Registered Dietician.
The vision for their fall wedding (10/29/16) at Saint Michael Catholic Church and Hall in Fort Laramie, Ohio, was a custom blend of classy and elegant (his request) yet glamorous and fun (hers.) To bring this vision to life, the couple used white and gold pumpkins for the decor, as well as fresh flowers and a touch of glitter.
Tori’s wedding invitation inspiration was attentive to bountiful floral accents and expressive script fonts. To enhance the elegance of their design, the couple opted for a pocket folder design. Many of our couples select this feature for its tasteful, organized presentation.
In matching their wedding decor, the couple opted for a gold metallic landscape pocket folder, ivory paper stock for their invitation, details card and reply card along with coordinating envelopes. They sealed each invitation with a monogram sticker accented with the same floral border as featured on their reply cards and invitations.
I loved the balance of sophisticated script font with painterly roses, mirroring the couple’s own relationship. Tori joked that her and David wanted a dog, but couldn’t decide between a Yorkshire Terrier and German Shepherd. Getting to know my couples keeps me inspired to create beautiful stationery, a timeless element of their love story.
