Today’s featured couple are Elisse and Devin, Dayton locals whom were married in a whimsical ceremony last spring. Their reception took place at the Top of the Market, one of the best industrial-chic venues in the Gem City. Their color palette featured soft hues of lavender and sage, which was used to create one of our most inspo-worthy invitation suites to date.
In true spirit of community, I was introduced to Elisse and Devin through another local vendor, Something Old Dayton. Since we were from the same area, we were able to meet in person to go over design details. The couple opted for the Emily Suite from the Semi-Custom Collection with envelope liners and addressing upgrades.
The painterly floral liners are one of my favorite upgrades! When guests open the invitation suite they’re instantly wowed by the couple’s artistic attention to detail. We’re predicting envelope liners to be a big trend for brides in 2020.
Elisse and Devin’s wedding stationery suite featured invitations, details card, RSVP cards, outer envelopes with liners, and RSVP envelopes.
The couple described their decor as natural, romantic and simple with baby’s breath floral arrangements and rustic wood signage. Their invitations featured neutral green envelopes which complemented the pale purple and ivory inserts for a truly timeless design.
Although the designs have a traditional feel due to the soft hues and script font, you’ll notice the couple didn’t pass the chance to infuse their personality. The RSVP cards had the options of “Heck yes” or “Sadly no” and the reception card concluded the day of schedule with “dancing the night away!” Getting to know our couples is the best way for us to recommend the charming personalized details such as these.
