I have had many brides say that they love one of my designs in the semi custom collection, but that they don’t want their invitation to look like anyone else’s. Or, they say that it doesn’t quite fit their colors or wedding theme. The beauty of this collection is that you can absolutely make it your own. Today, I’m going to focus on one of my popular semi custom designs, the Emily Collection.
Before we start talking about the design changes you can make, let’s talk about the items that are included in each of my semi-custom collections. Each collections offers: two save the date options (photo or text only), invitation suite, thank you cards, menu, table number, seating chart and place cards. Other stationery items are available upon request.
Now let me highlight some of the unique changes you can make to the Emily suite to fit your wedding style. Originally, this monogram design used the first initials of the clients in the wreath at the top of the invite. But, you can definitely use the couples “new” last initial in that area as well. You can also change up the text colors and add in a fun pop of color with your envelope selection!
Some other ways you can customize the Emily suite is to add custom envelope liners — a geometric pattern or floral watercolor design can make a huge difference in the feel of an invitation. Bellybands or vellum wraps help hold the peices of your suite together while adding a touch of color and a unique spin on the design.
Lastly, you can consider adding layers of stock to create some additional personality to your invitation. You could even wrap it in a custom die-cut folder. All of these semi-custom changes can make your wedding invitation look completely different and perfect for your big day.
Keep in mind that the Emily collection is just one of our semi-custom options. We have a variety of designs that may fit your wedding style perfectly — maybe with a couple changes.
