Happy Hump Day everyone! So this week has been kind of light, so I am taking advantage of a little spare time to start Operation Organization! As a home based business it is not uncommon for my 11x11 office to become cluttered. But the past few months clutter has been an understatement. I have had so many projects going on that you could barely see the couch, much less the floor. And my little card/craft table just isn't withstanding the demand anymore.
So, with my little business growing and grad school starting in a couple of weeks I felt it was imperative that I get everything together and organized so I could start the semester out on a clean slate. So I set out on a mission. I have been scouring the web for furniture deals, pinning ideas on my private boards and taking inspiration from numerous blogs. And after about a week of planning and concepting I think I have finally come up with a plan!
It is time to say out with the old, goodwill, up-cycled furniture and in with some new functional pieces. I am also saying goodbye to the Robin's Egg blue and going for a more branded color palette. All of the new items have been ordered, paint swatches have been chosen and I can't wait to share the new Ivory House office with you!
For now I will share the "before" space! Be sure to stay tuned for part two!
Yes, my closet does look like that. I am not ashamed. Sometimes life gets the best of me and this is my only alternative. Hence, why more storage and workspace is GREATLY needed.
