Featuring my “real” clients’ work is always so special to me. And, today’s feature is no exception. I was contacted by Emily’s family to help her design her wedding invitations. Emily was having trouble getting the invitations done by herself. I had designed Emily’s sister’s wedding invitation back in 2017. So, Emily’s family recommended that she come to me to make her paper dreams a reality.
As I do with most of my clients that are requesting custom work, we met at a local coffee shop to go over sample invitations and review color options. Seeing colors in person is the best way to ensure everyone’s expectations for the invitations are correct. At the meeting, we went through Emily’s ideas and realized that a variation on the Olivia Suite would be perfect for her invitations. We did add a really gorgeous floral belly band around the entire suite, along with a matching envelope liner.
I honestly love how this invitation turned out in real life. The colors are classic, but the invitation has a uniqueness to it, with the custom mongolia floral motif. I simply love a beautiful and classic invitation suite that reflects my client’s style. And, this is definitely reflective of what Emily and Robert wanted for their wedding stationery.
